Image
Hi Companions ,  With all of the openings of the parks, Natalie & I thought we could give you a playlist to listen to while you are waiting in line or even strolling through.  We know the park won’t be the same with all the entertainment so we thought we’d give you some. We also made these lists into one Spotify playlist , so you guys can jam along! :) These are our suggestions on when and where to listen to them.  Disneyland When you Wish Upon a Star from Pinocchio Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious From Mary Poppins Almost There from Princess & Frog Hit Me with Your Best Shot from Guardians of the Galaxy Ride Born to Be Wild from Guardians of the Galaxy Ride. Rides Good for ALL Ages

Image
Hi Companions ,  You’ve seen the "Rides Worth the Wait" in Natalie's post. I am going to talk to you about the rides that are good for all ages, especially little ones. I grew up going to Disney and when I was little there were rides I HAD to go on. Even today, they are still some of my favorites for nostalgia reasons. As I get older, this list gets longer and longer. Thrill rides are wonderful, but I LOVE these rides too...so much!! So without further adieu… Peter Pan’s Flight. Y’all Peter Pan’s line is long FOR A REASON! You are flying over London in a pirate ship dusted with fairy dust, and you get to see a very brief version of the Peter Pan story. There is even a secret, special line for it! (We will get to that in another post, but know that it’s there and it is VERY real!)  it’s a small world. Now some people will disagree with me but I love this ride. I love that recently they added the newer Disney characters into the ride to make little Easter eggs for childr...

Rides Worth the Wait

Image
Rides at Disney are a big deal. Besides being surrounded by the magic of Disney, you are also probably going for the rides. But the lines can be long and you can only have a certain amount of fast passes at a time, so which ones are truly worth the wait? Below, I have listed the rides I believe are worth the wait at both Disney World and Disneyland. The rides below are no all of the rides I wait in the traditional line for but rides that typically have more than an hour wait time.  Avatar Flight of Passage (Disney World) This ride is one that is a can’t miss for me but the line can be lonnng if you don’t have a fast pass, like 3+ hours long. But this ride is unlike any other you have ridden. You are totally immersed in the world of pandora and it truly feels like you are flying. You can smell it, feel it, and be in a new world. This is one ride I would wait for.  I will give one note: if you are prone to motion sickness, this ride can cause that. I take medicine t...

Pros & Cons of Staying OFF Property

Image
Hello Companions !  Susan here ! Natalie started this series with the pros and cons of staying on property, but I get to end the series with the pros and cons of staying off property. As much as I love staying on property, I also more frequently stay off property. To me, it is a happy balance for myself and for my family. Pros   1. Cheaper . It is MUCH cheaper to stay off property, by a LARGE margin. If you are trying to keep your expenses down, this is definitely a way to do it. This pro does have some cons attached to it but for the most part, even with that, it is cheaper to stay off property.  2. Variety of Food . You have the feeling of freedom to eat wherever you want. Since there is generally a big box store around the corner, you can buy a snack, breakfast, lunch and drinks for the price of ONE Disney meal. Although, I LOVE Mickey shaped items sometimes you want to skip the lines and save money on your own food. Also, even if you are ea...
