Favorite Disney World Shows

Hey Companions!

Shows may not be happening right now at Disney due to COVID but they will be back some day! And I wanted to let you know of some of my favorite shows that I think are worth your time while you are visiting Disney World. And one of these shows is actually still happening even during corona times.

Animal Kingdom

There are two shows at Disney that I would say are definitely worth your time.

Festival of the Lion King

This is a fun and interactive show that tells the story of The Lion King. Not only do they have actors that sing beautiful songs, this show is full of acrobats, fire, and moments to join in the fun yourself. I really think this is THE BEST show Disney World has. I know that’s a bold statement but I go every single time. It’s colorful, fun, and there’s so much to watch. Everyone will be entertained!

Side Note: Open snacks and drinks are not allowed in the theater so make sure you eat before you enter!

Feathered Friends in Flight!

Not many people know about this show but Animal Kingdom has a show where they show all of the birds they take care of and teach you about the birds. They fly around, they are trained to do certain tricks, and one even sings a song for you! These birds are beautiful and you get to see these birds up close. I also always go to this show when at Disney. My nephew also enjoyed this show and it’s another one that will entertain everyone without being too long. I would definitely look in to this show if you are going to Animal Kingdom.

Hollywood Studios

Fantasmic

This show is #2 in my book right behind The Lion King  Fantasmic is so much fun and you get to see all the popular characters in one show together! Susan also put it as one of her experiences she would do again! When it comes to nighttime shows, this one is the best! And I agree with Susan, I would highly recommend adding a VIP ticket to your dining package so you can get the best seats without waiting in line  it was definitely worth the money for one of the best shows at Disney World!

Magic Kingdom

Happily Ever After Fireworks

If you like fireworks and lasers and projections, you will love this show  Disney has done a great job utilizing projection mapping so the castle transforms and shows different characters scenes and even changes the look of the castle. And Disney does fireworks like no one else. I personally don’t really even like fireworks, but I would go and see this show.

Side note: If you go to the later show, you can ride rides with shorter lines during the first show. A majority of people go to the first show to not keep kids up too late so if you can wait, I would.

These are just a few of my favorites and ones I think you should check out next time you are there and Disney is not having to function at limited capacity and reduced hours. What are your favorite shows at Disney World? Let us know in the comments!
