Movies to Watch- Animal Kingdom

Hey Companions,

Natalie here to continue our series on what to watch before you go to Disney. As Susan said in her last post (found here), you can go and enjoy Disney without seeing these movies, BUT you do appreciate all the details even more after you have seen the movies. Disney+ is a great option to watch Disney movies and shows all the time. It is one of my favorite subscription services. I have checked to make sure all the movies listed below are indeed on Disney+!


Animal Kingdom Movies:


-Avatar

-The Lion King (I would recommend the original over the 2019 version but either will do)

-UP

-Dinosaur

-The Good Dinosaur

-A Bugs Life

-The Jungle Book

-Finding Nemo

-Pick if the Litter

-Magic of Disney’s Animal Kingdom from Nat Geo



I also have a recommendation for any and all parks and that is The Imagineering Story. This show is one of the best on the subscription service and dives into the wonder of Disney and also how they make the magic happen. I think anyone who watches this will appreciate the parks and the company even more for all they have done and are doing. I couldn’t wait for a new episode to come out each week. They are now all available on Disney. 


Animal Kingdom may have the fewest amount of big rides based on films, but it is probably my favorite park. Watching the above movies will help you appreciate all of the details and storytelling of the park. We hope you enjoy these movies as much as we do!

Hey Companions! Shows may not be happening right now at Disney due to COVID but they will be back some day! And I wanted to let you know of some of my favorite shows that I think are worth your time while you are visiting Disney World. And one of these shows is actually still happening even during corona times.  Animal Kingdom There are two shows at Disney that I would say are definitely worth your time.  Festival of the Lion King This is a fun and interactive show that tells the story of The Lion King. Not only do they have actors that sing beautiful songs, this show is full of acrobats, fire, and moments to join in the fun yourself. I really think this is THE BEST show Disney World has. I know that’s a bold statement but I go every single time. It’s colorful, fun, and there’s so much to watch. Movies to Watch Before Going to...Animal Kingdom

  Hey Companions, I (Natalie) am back for or final installment of what movies to watch before you go to Disney. We have already covered Magic Kingdom/Disneyland, Animal Kingdom, and Hollywood Studios. Today I am going to talking about the movies to watch before you head to EPCOT in order to enjoy all of the details and homages to the movies. We have tried not to repeat movies but there may be a couple that overlap due to characters and rides being at multiple parks. But without further ado, here are the movies I suggest watching before going to EPCOT. And once again, these can all be found on Disney+. Movies to Watch BEFORE going to...Hollywood Studios & California Adventure

  Hello Companions,  Susan here!! Welcome back to the “What to Watch on Disney+” series! :) I get to continue the series off with Hollywood Studios and California Adventure. We decided to lump these together because they have a lot of similar rides and are the most alike! I have to say this has got to be one of my favorite lists to watch.
