Favorite Snacks and Restaurants—Disneyland

Image
Hi Companions! We’ve been on the topic of food because you have to eat while you are at Disney so you might as well know what’s good! Last week, we talked about the best snacks and restaurants at Disney World. You can check it out here. This week, we are talking about our favorite snacks and restaurants at Disneyland! Snacks I (Natalie) cannot talk about Disneyland without talking about their corn dogs . The corn dogs at Disneyland are SO GOOD! I’m not kidding. Head to Corn Dog Castle in California Adventure or Little Red Wagon in Disneyland and you will find a huge, hand dipped corn dog. This can technically pass as lunch because it is so big or you can share it as an afternoon snack. Either way, it is a must have.  Another newer addition to the snacks I (Natalie) just have while I’m there are the cookies from Jack Jacks Cookie Num Num’s in California Adventure. Yes, that name is quite a mouthful and so are the cookies! The chocolate chip cookies are huge! And de...

Favorite Snack & Restaurants -- Disney World

Image
Hi Companions,  We are starting a new series on favorite snacks & restaurants! Believe it or not, we only have ONE thing that overlaps for Disney World. Can you guess what it is?! Don’t cheat!! Without further adieu, Natalie & I’s favorites…. Snacks Natalie here and I have to say, my all time favorite snack at Disney is the candied apple! They have everything from simple caramel dipped apples to apples decorated for holidays and festivals! I personally love the chocolate dipped ones with the Mickey Mouse ears made from marshmallows. I have to limit myself on how many I get on a trip because I would eat one a day if I could!  Susan here and my favorite snack of all time is the Dole Whip Float! I will stand in the OUTRAGEOUS line to get it and although, now it isn’t as exclusive to Disney Parks and Hawai’i like it used to be, there is SOMETHING about eating it there that makes me giddy like I won a prize. I honestly could eat these all day every day but ...

Hi Companions,  We know that Disneyland announced opening on July 17 but unfortunately the State of California is issuing new guidelines that might push it back. Up to this point I (Natalie) will let you know what Disney has released and Susan will let you know what to expect based on what we know.  Just like Disney World, Disneyland is reopening in phases and with limited capacity what that looks like exactly won’t be revealed until after July 4th. The Downtown Disney district will still open July 9th based on their previous post. Here is what we know so far, and we expect even MORE.  Social distancing will be required throughout the Disney property which means that capacity will be lower than normal.  Face masks are required for everyone above the age of 2 when in the parks, downtown Disney, and public areas of the hotels.  Temperature checks will be required for everyone entering Disney parks or Downtown Disney.  There will be more ha...

Park Pass System

Image
Hey Companions, If you are planning to go to Disney some time in the next year, you need to know about the Park Pass system. In addition to having a park ticket, you now must have a park pass to enter a park. To make the Park Pass reservation, you need to have tickets first.  If you are planning to go this year, you need to have your tickets linked to your account already to make the Park Pass reservation. If you are planning on going next year, you can check the Park Pass availability, then purchase your tickets for those dates, then make the Park Pass reservation. You don’t want to get tickets for dates when there is no availability so make sure to check that before buying tickets. I would love to help you through that process and you can email me to book your 2021 vacation to Disney World here !  To get a Park Pass you must follow these steps First, sign in to you My Disney account.   Once you have signed in,  click on My Disney Experience and...
